Nothing is installed on the board. It loads unsleep as its signage page, the way it would load any web address, so the setup is one address — https://unsleep.app — and the handful of configurations that let the device show it. Which ones depends on what is on your wall.
Paste the macro and it does everything. Open Settings → Macros on the board, or Control Hub → Macro Editor, create a macro, paste it in, Save, enable. It sets the web engine, interactive signage, the standby delay and macro autostart, then adds a Dashboard button to the Control Panel.
No macro needed. In Control Hub, or in the board’s own web interface, turn on the web engine and signage, allow touch, and give the board the address. It comes up on the unsleep welcome screen, ready for a setup code.

No touchscreen means no setup code, so here the configuration travels inside the address. Build a layout at unsleep.app/setup, tap Get signage URL, and use that in place of the plain one. Do not install the macro here: it would overwrite the address.

InteractionMode is the one that makes the screen answer a finger, and RoomOS does not turn it on for you: left at its default the board shows the dashboard perfectly and ignores every tap. A Room series driving a TV is the exception that wants the default, along with the generated URL in place of the plain one.
Cisco’s own guidance for any of them: set Time OfficeHours so signage runs no more than twelve hours a day.
The board is a touchscreen: two buttons sit in the bottom-right corner, and the cards themselves are the third control. Rather set it up from your computer? unsleep.app/setup lets you pick your widgets and hands you a code — on the board, tap the gear, choose Setup code, type it in, and Save. Codes last an hour.
Rearrange the board itself: drag cards to move them, resize them, remove one, or add a new widget from the picker. The board shows each card’s minimum size while you work, so nothing ends up too small to read. Tap Done when you’re finished.
Everything else: your display mode and schedule, screensaver sources, which stations, teams, tickers, and news outlets you follow, °F or °C, 12- or 24-hour time, and your display name.
A card that holds more than it shows opens full screen. Weather gives you the next 24 hours, Markets every ticker you follow, Subway the full alert text. A headline opens with a summary and a QR code so you can finish reading on your phone, and any picture fills the screen.
